Malakand BISE chief satisfied with exam process

TIMERGARA: Controller examinations Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand Professor Jamil Ahmad on Wednesday visited various examination halls set up for Secondary School Certificates (SSC) annual examination under the board and expressed satisfaction at the ongoing examination process.

Talking to reporters, Prof Jamil Ahmad said a total of 380 examination halls had been established for a total of 9000 students taking SSC annual examination under BISE Malakand. These included 94 examination centres for female students while 283 for male.

“A total of 2760 teachers had been deployed by the board to smoothly conduct the examination out of which 380 both male and female teachers were appointed as superintendent and the same number as deputy superintendents.

Whereas 2000 others have been appointed as invigilators,” Jamil Ahmad said, adding Close Circuit TV Cameras (CCTV) had also been installed at 90 percent examination halls to strictly monitor examination centres and check the use of any unfair means during examination.

The board declared judicial lock up Malakand and district Jail Timergara as sub-examination halls for two students of grade 10 providing them with every opportunity to take examination as their right to education, Professor Jamil Ahmad said.
