Minor assaulted in Bannu

BANNU: A man allegedly sexually assaulted a minor girl in the limits of the Cantonment Police Station on Monday, official sources said.
They said that eight-year old girl had gone to a shop in Kotka Gu to buy sweets when the shopkeeper identified as Sadullah allegedly assaulted her. The shopkeeper was trying to escape after committing the crime when police arrested him.
During primarily interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. The DNA of the victim was dispatched to the laboratory. The police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
