OKARA: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will inaugurate the Syedwala Bridge at river Ravi on March 24. The construction of the bridge was started in the previous tenure of the PPP. The bridge will facilitate the people of Okara, Jaranwala, Nankana Sahib and many other towns and cities. Earlier, people had to cross the river through a bridge made up of boats. During rainy season, flooding suspended the boat-bridge and people had to cover miles to reach their destination.
