Bannu Female Games begin
PESHAWAR: Bannu took the lead as the Bannu Regional Under-23 Female Games began at the Government Post Graduate College for Women Monday.
Bannu defeated Lakki Marwat 2-1 in tug-of-war, table tennis and badminton competitions.Assistant Commissioner Bannu Shabir Khan and spouse of deputy commissioner Zuhra Bibi were the chief guests at the inaugural ceremony.
Director Sports Female Games KP Miss Rashida Ghaznavi, international athletic coach Syed Jaffar Shah, Principal Miss Perveen, officials and a large number of spectators were present o the occasion.
As many as 430 athletes from Lakki Marwat and Bannu are participating in 13 different sports disciplines including athletics, basketball, badminton, cricket, judo, volleyball, table tennis, baseball, squash, hockey and tug-of-war.
