Woman injured in Mir Ali blast

MIRANSHAH: A 22-year old woman sustained injuries in a landmine blast in Mir Ali tehsil in North Waziristan on Sunday, tribal sources said. They said the woman was collecting firewood outside her residence in Mir Ali when she stepped on a landmine and triggered an explosion. She was rushed to a hospital in Bannu where the doctors said she was in a critical condition. According to the doctors, the woman had lost her both hands in the blast.
