Protest against alleged torture
Lahore : Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and British Pakistani Christians Association protested against the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for alleged torture of blasphemy accused Sajid Masih and Patras Masih.
The protesters gathered outside the Lahore Press Club (LPC) and demanded justice for Sajid Masih and Patras. They carried banners and placards and chanted slogans against the injustice. Sabir Ali Haidar said the discrimination against minorities was unfortunate.
"The elements conspiring against the state will never be allowed to complete their agenda by creating differences among people of the state. Pakistan is an independent state and no one will be allowed exploit the rights of minorities given by the Constitution in the country," he said.
