TIMERGARA: The pensioners in Lower Dir on Saturday asked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to release their group insurance amount as per the decision of the Peshawar High Court (PHC).
They threatened to file a contempt of court application against the government in the PHC if the decision was not implemented forthwith.
Talking to reporters, a group of retirees, including Muhammad Hafizullah, Gul Jamal, Fazal Hassan and others, said that government employees, who retired after November, 2014 were entitled to get group insurance, but those who had reached the age of superannuation before that period were not entitled to it.
