Faisal finally gets control of PFF
LAHORE: The representative of Pakistan Football Federation, headed by Syed Faisal Saleh Hahyat, on Thursday finally got charge from PFF administrator.
All happened after orders of the Division Bench Lahore High Court (LHC), who have ordered the PFF administrator to handed over the charge of PFF to its elected body. According to a PFF spokesman, PFF Senior Vice President Syed Khadim Ali Shah took over the control of PFF on behalf of Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat.
Meanwhile Faisal Saleh Hayat has thanked his companions and the football lovers of Pakistan for their all-out support to the right cause of elected PFF restoration. “We will soon announce the detailed plan for the development of football in Pakistan immediately after bringing the secretariat in functional state” Faisal said. “I especially thank to the President FIFA Infantino Gianni and President AFC Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa for their continuous support to the principle stand of PFF and the football family of Pakistan” he added.
He also congratulated the footballplayers, referees coaches and the members of District Football Associations. President PFF has also ordered an internal audit of PFF. “We will also have an internal audit, will maintain the inventory to Correct the damages done to the PFF Headquarters in the previous 3 years” Faisal Said. “We will make our utmost efforts to take the football of Pakistan to new heights not only in the region but at Asia Level” Faisal added. Syed Khadim Ali Shah Senior Vice President of PFF said that the football family and especially the footballers have gone through a very difficult period during the past 3 years, but thanks to Allah it is over now. We are hopeful for the lifting of FIFA suspension very soon due to the efforts of President PFF Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat.
Sardar Naveed Haider Khan commented that PFF will leave no stone unturned to the earliest revival of football activities in Pakistan. He also admired the efforts of President PFF Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat. Col (R) Lodhi said that the first job for us is to make the PFF Headquarters functional.
