CPEC Tower will be constructed at Peshawar general bus stand: Asim
PESHAWAR: District Nazim Mohammad Asim Khan said on Wednesday that a China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Tower will be constructed at Peshawar general bus stand with an estimated cost of Rs.10billion.
Speaking at Meet the Press Program at Press Club, he said that a state of art CPEC Commercial Tower comprising 157 kanal land will be constructed while the new bus stand would be constructed on 400 kanal land at Sardar Garhi.
Mohammad Asim said the mega project would be completed either by Chinese company or National Logistic Cell for which an agreement would be signed. He said that district government that a sum of Rs15million would be spent for installation of cameras in examination halls of Peshawar and an agreement with education department and PTCL will be signed.
He said the solarization of more than 11 basic health units had been completed in Peshawar during last year, while from 12 to 13 BHUs would be solarized in the current year.
