Jamani made Pemra executive member

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed DG Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) Ashfaq Jamani as Executive Member.

Jamani took charge of the new post on Tuesday. No acting chairman was appointed in the Pemra after Absar Alam left the post.

Important decisions were taken in the meeting of Pemra held the previous day. Jamani will look after the Pemra affairs till appointment of a new chairman.
