Minor girl assaulted, killed in Dunyapur

DUNYAPUR: A six-year-old girl was murdered after being subjected to sexual abuse in Dunyapur on Saturday. Police said young Asma, who went missing six day ago, was found dead in a pond. Subsequently, the minor was shifted to a medical facility, where her medical examination was carried out.

A police official said her postmortem report confirmed that she was subjected to sexual abuse before her captor(s) murdered and dumped her.

DNA samples collected from the crime scene were sent to forensic laboratory for offender profiling. The District Police Officer (DPO) Lodhran said police was making all-out efforts to find and arrest the culprit(s) behind this felony.
