Student killed in Karachi laid to rest in Bajaur
KHAR: The funeral prayer for the student who was killed in Karachi was offered in Mokha village in Bajaur’s Mamond tehsil on Monday.
Officials of the political administration, political leaders and tribesmen attended the funeral of Ahmed Shah who was killed in an alleged encounter in Karachi. He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard. Talking to reporters, the victim’s father said that he had no enmity and had worked hard to educate his children. Local elders asked the Supreme Court of Pakistan to constitute a commission to probe the extrajudicial killings of innocent Pakhtuns in Karachi.
The family members said that Ahmed Shah, a student of Zoology Department at the University of Karachi, was picked up by unidentified persons. His body was found dumped two days later.
