22 dengue cases reported in a week

At least 22 more dengue fever cases surfaced across Karachi in a week, taking the reported cases to 137 in the city since January 1. According to the weekly report issued by the Prevention and Control Programme for Dengue in Sindh, 22 new dengue fever cases were reported from across the city from February 12 to February 19. A total of 143 cases - 137 in Karachi and six in the rest of the province -- have been reported in Sindh so far. In 2017, a total of 2 927 dengue cases had been reported across the province, and 12 people had died from the fever.
