Man kills brother in Bannu

BANNU: A man allegedly shot dead his brother over a petty issue in Bezankhel area on Thursday, official sources said.

They said one Asmatullah, after exchanging harsh words, fired at his elder brother Afzal Khan, killing him on the spot.

The accused fled the scene. A case was registered at the Township Police Station.

Man killed in Chakdarra accident: A man was killed and his wife sustained injuries in a road accident at Adenzai area in Lower Dir district on Thursday.

It was learnt that Dr Sher Ali Khan along with his wife was on his way in his vehicle which collided with another vehicle.

As a result, Dr Sher Ali was killed on the spot while his wife, whose name could not be ascertained, sustained injuries.
