PARACHINAR: Tourists thronged various scenic parts of Kurram Agency to enjoy the eye-catching view of snowcapped mountains here on Wednesday.
The tourists, mostly youth, set up camps at various picnic spots and cooked spicy foods as the mercury plummeted below zero Celsius in the agency. The heavy snowfall cut off the central parts of Kurram from the rest of the tribal region as well.
Meanwhile, the three-day anti-polio campaign was successfully completed despite rain and snowfall in Kurram. Polio Officer Imdad Hussain said that the vaccinators and other supportive staff continued administering the children against the virus despite unfavourable weather conditions.
