Fazaia Inter College student wins title of ‘crown green angel’

Islamabad: Maryam Nisar, a student of class XI from Fazaia Inter College, Minhas Kamra, Attock won the title of ‘Crown Green Angel’ of Pakistan in a climate quiz organised by Green Living Association of Pakistan, says a press release.

A climate quiz was organised by GLA all over Pakistan. Hundreds of students of several schools and colleges participated in competition. Great prizes were distributed among winners. Students of Fazaia Inter College (FIC) Minhas won 5 prizes in different categories with 5 gold medals and the title of ‘Crown Green Angel of Pakistan.’

Maryam Nisar was awarded 100,000 cash prize and a shield. Headmistress Tasneem Shaukat got best coordinator award and best participation award was also won by FIC Minhas. Akhter Rasul, principal of FIC Minhas received the award. Air Cdre Aamir Sarwar was the chief guest of ceremony. In his address he said that achievements of FIC Minhas for the session of 2016-17 and 2017-18 are remarkable. Minhas is setting new history in academics as well as sports and co curricular activities.

Board position in HSSC, Athletic Championship Trophy of Federal Board, World Space Week Champion Trophy , new records in GPA of SSC and HSSC results with 3 positions in all Pakistan Painting Competition 2017, 04 Chief of Air Staff Trophies.

International School Award 2016-19 and much more awards and trophies in several sports and co curricular activities speak very high about the performance of FIC Minhas. He congratulated parents of winners students, faculty members and the management.

FIC principal said that I am thankful to Air Cdre Muhammad Mughees Afzal, Base Cdre PAF Base Minhas for best cooperation and guidance and special support of ACAS. He promised that he with his enthusiastic team will continue to bring much more laurels for Fazaia Schools and College in future. He further said that all this possible only because of Allah almighty’s help and hard work of my students, teachers and their parents. We are trying to implement the Air Headquarters directives with true letter and spirit. We endeavour to introduce Fazaia Minhas as a Model College of Pakistan Air Force.
