LANDIKOTAL: The Khassadar personnel on Monday foiled a bid to smuggle a chemical to Afghanistan and arrested alleged peddlers, officials said.Political tehsildar of Landikotal, Shamsul Islam told The News Khassadar Commander Shakeel Afridi stopped a truck (KBL-1175) at Torkham border. He said 7584 kilogram of chemical which is used in heroin manufacturing was confiscated. He said the chemical had been concealed.Two persons identified as Naqeebullah and Gul Zang of Afghanistan were arrested and shifted to Landikotal lock up.
