5 killed in Allai road accident

BATTAGRAM: Five persons including a cop were killed and another sustained injuries when a passenger van fell into a ravine at Kandawo area in Allai on Sunday.
Police official said a passenger van, C-5500, was on its way to Battagram from Allai when it plunged into the gorge apparently due to over speeding.
As a result, five passengers identified Saleemullah, a cop, Amir Muhammad, Mian Jan, Abdul Manan and Ashfaq died on the spot. The driver of the van, Fakharuddin, sustained injuries in the accident. The bodies and injured were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Allai.
