Sohail refuses to play for World XI

KARACHI: Pakistan’s renowned penalty corner specialist Sohail Abbas who had been included in the World XI by PHF for playing two matches in Karachi and Lahore has refused to be part of the games, ‘The News’ learnt on Wednesday. The PHF sources confirmed that he would not participate in the two matches. They did not mention the reasons why he declined. It was learnt that he rejected the offer owing to differences on match fee. ‘The News’ attempted to contact him for comments but he was not available.
