ISLAMABAD: An 18-member Pakistan women’s hockey team for the Asian Games qualifiers was named on Saturday.
The tournament will be held in Bangkok (Thailand) from January 12-20.
Rizwana Yasmin is the captain of the team and Ambreen Arshad is the vice-captain
Squad: Goalkeepers: Rizwana Yasmeen, Rushna Khan. Full-backs: Ishrat Abbas, Taskeen Kausar, Nida Asghar, Marina Anwar. Half-backs: Ibra Sheikh, Zakia Nawaz, Zaibun Nisa, Nafeesa Anwar, Rimsha Ilyas. Forwards: Sahrish Waheed, Hina Pervaiz, Mayira Sabir, Tehmina, Ambreen Arshad, Kalsoom Shehzadi, Saira Ashraf.
Officials: Saeed Khan (head coach), Gulnar Begum (manager), Shaheen Fatima (assistant manager), Sajida Fajar (physiotherapist), Binish Hayat (umpire), Nabila Ayaz (technical official).
