Careless driving
The transportation system of rural areas of Sindh calls for immediate attention of the authorities. The system is running without any legal bindings. For example, bus owners park vans at their self-made stops in bustling cities. Bus drivers are usually found smoking and chatting with conductors until other vans of the same route catch up to them. There is no proper waiting area for passengers and people stand with their families on roads.
Speeding and racing are quite common among bus drivers. This results in sharp turns and sudden breaks which have become the root cause of frequent road accidents. Residents have one question: why are the authorities not taking action against this gross negligence which is putting the lives of people in danger. Strict action should be taken against those bus owners who drive buses carelessly.
