KARACHI: As New Year starts, Geo Television cares for its viewers who should get ready for back-to-back mega dramas being launched on entertainment channel.
On this Tuesday, Geo TV will present another mega drama serial Silsilay, a story of love and romance directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain while relationships depict in this drama has been written beautifully by Samra Bukhari.
After super hit success of Bholi Bano on Geo TV, Hiba Bukhari once again appears in this serial with multi-talented actor Junaid Khan (singer, songwriter and actor) who already has a successful dramas not only on Geo TV but overall entertainment television industry on his credit. Hira and Abiha have been abandoned by their father (he is a gambler and didn’t want to take daughters’ responsibility) and raised by their mother in Khala’s home along with their cousin Jawad. Abiha is in one sided love of Shahzab, he is their neighbour and childhood friend whereas Hira has always pictured a life with Jawad to which Jawad is completely unaware.
Jawad has recently returned from US after finishing his studies to start a life in Pakistan, soon his friend Ujala will arrive from US and with his mother’s agreement they will be married.
This would leave Hira heartbroken. Meanwhile Hira’s father will contact her mother and demand to meet his daughters. Silsilay produced by Erum Binte Shahid under the production house Dramay Baaz Entertainment. Silsilay is starting from 2nd January, every Tuesday at 8:00pm
