Palestine issue relates to whole Muslim Ummah: envoy
ISLAMABAD: Palestinian ambassador to Islamabad, Walid Abu Ali here on Monday addressing the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) said that the Palestine issue is not only limited to the Palestinian people but it relates to the whole Muslim Ummah.
Israel to suppress Palestinian movement was using lethal weapons including tanks and bombarding civilian population with F-16 fighter airplanes. On Monday Walid Abu Ali visited IHCBA and addressed a gathering of the lawyers. He said that the status of United Nation is ceremonial and it cannot stop the powerful countries committing atrocities against the unarmed civilians.
America is funding Israel in committing heinous crimes against humanity. Regarding recent decision of President Donald Trump declaring Jerusalem as capital of Israel, Ambassador Walid said that the US must have to retrieve its decision. He said that this decision is an effort to hurt sentiments of the billions of Muslims around the world.
Palestine is not only inhibited by the Muslims but also by the Christians. Palestinian people respect their fellow Christian brothers. A documentary regarding Al-Quds in Jerusalem and suppression of Palestinian people at the hands of occupied forces was also played.
IHCBA president Arif Chaudhry advocate while addressing the lawyers said that love for Palestine is part of our faith. He condemned the statement of US president as well. A large number of lawyers participated in the ceremony.
