Brook named England skipper U-19 World Cup

LONDON: Yorkshire’s Harry Brook has been named captain of the England Under 19 squad for the Under19 World Cup in New Zealand in January 2018. There were also call ups for Middlesex’s Savin Perera, Luke Hollman, Ethan Bamber and Jack Davies, Somerset’s Tom Lammonby, Fin Trenouth and Tom Banton, Glamorgan’s Prem Sisodiya and Roman Walker and Worcestershire’s Dillon Pennington and Adam Finch. Warwickshire, Surrey and Hampshire will each have one player from their academies in the World Cup squad with Liam Banks, Will Jacks and Tom Scriven completing the squad.
