Child martyred, two injured in Chaman terror attack
CHAMAN: One child was martyred while two persons were reportedly injured after terrorist attack near main gate of Christian Colony in the Chaman area of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to media reports, the police and Frontier Corpse (FC) have cordoned off the area and started investigation into the matter. The two injured children were admitted to the hospital for medical treatment.
Station House Officer (SHO) Gull Muhammad said that nearby window glasses of the house were broken in the vicinity of the blast. Gull Muhammad added that the terrorists had fled from the crime scene after attacking the gate of Christian Colony. Balochistan CM Nawaz Sanaullah Zehri condemned the blast and expressed sorrow at the loss of innocent life. He ordered the security forces to apprehend those found involved in the terrorist attack. Balochistan CM has directed the security agencies to closely monitor law and order situation in Chaman and surrounding areas.
Security high alert was given in the areas surrounding Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Further law enforcement contingents were deployed to ensure peace for the area residents.
