Women’s conference today

PESHAWAR: A literary and cultural organisation, Gandhara Hindko Board, has arranged the third women conference today (Saturday) to highlight the importance of Hindko language and culture.
Organisers said the moot would start at 11am in the Gandhara Hindko Academy, located on the Chinar-Abdara Road. Women from various walks of life will turn up at the event.
A noted writer and broadcaster, Aftab Iqbal Bano, is convener and Dr Gulnaz Arshad deputy convener of the conference.
Hina Tahir, a research officer at the Academy, will coordinate the programme and conduct the proceedings.A stall, set up on the sidelines of the conference, will display Hindko language books and publications, said a press release.
