Faiz festival from today

LAHORE: The three-day International Faiz Festival will be inaugurated with a dazzling opening ceremony and exhibition at Alhamra Arts Council, The Mall, today (Friday).
The festival will kick off with the inauguration of an exhibition and an opening ceremony at the Alhamra Arts Council’s permanent art gallery at 4pm. The first event of the inaugural day is a play going to be staged by Ajoka Theatre ‘Lo Phir Basant Ayi’, in Hall No 2.
It is pertinent to note that the Faiz International Festival, a three-day long mega event in the cultural and intellectual world of the country, is perhaps the biggest event of its kind and it attracts artists, intellectuals, writers, scholars, poets, men and women of letters, not only from all over Pakistan but also from other countries of the world. The festival is a free event for everyone and all Faiz lovers and general public is invited.
