MURREE: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday promised that he will continue serving the people and asked the people to pray for Pakistan. He said he will succeed in the court of the God and the people of Pakistan.
Talking to media persons in Murree, Nawaz Sharif said that the process of development that his government had started will continue at a fast pace. The deposed premier said that the love that people had shown for him was an honour for him.
He mingled with the common people during his visit while his daughter Maryam Nawaz filmed the scenes on her phone. When a local voter complained about the delay in the process of laying the gas pipelines, Nawaz promised to take up the matter with PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, upon which the crowd raised slogans in his favour.
