JI chief blastsrulers of Muslim states for not raising voice for Rohingya
TIMERGARA: Condemning the killings of Rohingya Muslims, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Senator Sirajul Haq on Tuesday threatened to stage protest outside embassy of Myanmar in Islamabad.
Addressing an Eid Millan party at Munda in Lower Dir, the JI chief blasted the Muslim rulers for not raising the issue at UN. Sirajul Haq also announced to start a march from Lahore towards Islamabad for initiating real accountability in the country. He added that those who looted banks, institutions and exchequer should be made accountable.
The JI chief asked the courts to initiate across-the- board accountability and make politicians, bureaucrats, judges and generals accountable for their misdeeds. He expressed wonder that politicians were ready to lead the nation but hesitant to be Sadiq and Amin. The JI chief said no one could dare to change articles 62, 63, adding the JI would go to every extent to protect the Constitution.
