The troupe has been nominated by Lok Virsa and is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan.
Executive Director Lok Virsa, Dr. Fouzia Saeed while sharing her views said that it is a need of time to take concrete measures to present a soft image of Pakistan around the world today. “This initiative will help in promoting cultural exchanges and people to people interaction between two countries.” She said it would contribute in further enhancing the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and China.
The delegation comprises Niazi Boys which includes Muzamil Niazi, Ashir Niazi and Subhan Niazi who are descendents of renowned folk artists Tufail Niazi will hit the stage with ‘bhangra’ and friendship songs of Pakistan and China.

Pakistan and India enjoyed observer status along with Iran, Afghanistan, Mongolia and Belarus. India and Pakistan’s admission as full members to the Beijing-backed Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was formalized at the political and security grouping’s summit in Kazakhstan in the month of June this year.
