KARACHI: The National T20 Cup 2017, which was scheduled to be held at Multan and Faisalabad from August 25 to September 10, has been postponed till November due to the World XI tour of Pakistan and a series against Sri Lanka.
“Yes, the National T20 Cup 2017 has been postponed and now it will be held from November 4-19,” a PCB official told ‘The News’ on Monday. In the event, eight regional teams from across the country will compete.
“Pakistan’s top players are attending the fitness test on August 22, 23 and 24. Then those cricketers who are part of the CPL will go back to the West Indies. Then there would be matches against World XI, followed by the series against the Sri Lankans,” the official said.
