Shaadi Week to kick-start in morning show Geo Subah Pakistan today
KARACHI: The viewers of Geo TV should be prepared to make their mornings brighter, colourful and lively because the “Shaadi Week” will kick-start on Wednesday (today) on Geo TV’s morning show “Geo Subah Pakistan”.
Known for her beautiful conversations, Shaista Lodhi will host this charming show. She is also known as the undisputed queen of morning shows. On the first day of the Shaadi Week, the following personalities will be the special guests:
Natasha Ali, Kiran Khan, Banita, Aliya Imam, Sangeeta, Sumbul Iqbal, Mishi Khan, Pinky, Sundus, model Beena and model Sadia.
In the Shaadi Week, a special dance performance will be held, along with a discussion session on ‘mayun’. The brides-to-be will also be blessed with special prayers. In this event, married women will discuss their views about marriage.
On the other hand, a ‘doli’ will be welcomed by showering rose petals on it. There will be a dance function too. A ceremony to put ‘henna’ on little finger and to rinse bride’s hands with rosewater will also be held.
Marigold flowers, decorated plates and the red scarf laying ceremony will entice the viewers. The ‘Ubtan’ ceremony for the brides-to-be will be held. On the other hand, Bilqees Apa will also give away tips for making ‘Ubtan’. The programme will summarise the happiness of real weddings.
