Asif Pota dies of heart attack

LAHORE: Journalist, writer and director Asif Ali Pota died of cardiac arrest here on Saturday. He was 55.
Pota was husband of singer Naheed Akhtar. His funeral prayer will be held today (Sunday) after Zohar prayer at 329-Nishtar Block, Allama Iqbal Town. He left behind two wives, four sons and two daughters.
Pota started his career as a feature writer and worked as journalist for long time with Daily Jang and other newspapers. Later he worked as director and writer with TV and film industry.
