MWM stages sit-in against Parachinar blast
LAHORE: Majlis Wahdat Muslemin (MWM) staged a sit-in outside the Lahore Press Club on Thursday evening to condemn bomb blast at Parachinar and press their demands for ending proxy war and terror activities in the country.
The sit in was participated by men, women and children besides party leaders who warned the government of widespread demonstrations and sit ins if the demands were not met. The sit in was addressed by MWM leaders Nasir Sherazi, Hasan Hamdani and others. They alleged that a systematic genocide of minority community was being committed by foreign agents while our government and law enforcing agencies were helpless to stop that.
They warned of a strong agitation movement across the country if the lawlessness was not controlled immediately. They said they were committed to resist all conspiracies aimed at turning Parachinar into Gaza or Indian held Kashmir. They warned the government of voting out the ruling party in the coming elections if their demands were ignored any further.
