Two BLA terrorists killed, says ISPR
QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) in Balochistan killed on Monday two wanted terrorists belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the paramilitary force conducted an intelligence-based operation in Quetta. Two wanted terrorists of the BLA were tracked who got killed in an exchange of fire, the ISPR said. The military’s media wing said that the BLA members were involved in attacks on armed forces, target killings, kidnapping and planting of IEDs in the areas of Quetta, Margate and Sangaan in Balochistan.
In a separate operation in the Fata, security forces recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from villages in the SWA and Dara Adam Khel. The intelligence-based operation was conducted in villages of Nizkan Khel, Razin and Nazar Khel of South Waziristan Agency. The Kaskai village of Lower Dir, Sirigal village of Chitral and various areas of Dara Adam Khel were also searched. Recovered arms and ammunition included SMGs, Sakila gun, missiles, 12 bore rifles, grenades, 82mm mortar rockets of RPG7, etc.
