Man gets death for posting blasphemous material on social media

BAHAWALPUR: Special Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Malik Shabbir Ahmad on Saturday awarded death sentence to a blasphemer.
According to the prosecution, Taimoor Raza had posted hate and blasphemous material on social media. He was arrested by the CTD Bahawalpur and an FIR No-30/2016 was registered against him under Sections 9/11w ATA, 295-C and 298-A last year. It is pertinent to mention here that the judgment was announced at the New Central Jail Bahawalpur.
