Musharraf, Shujaat discuss formation of grand alliance
ISLAMABAD: A delegation of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) here on Thursday called on Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to discuss current political situation and a possible grand alliance.
APML delegation led by party's secretary general Dr Muhammad Amjad also included Senior Vice President Riaz Khan, Chief Organiser Sindh Dr Hassan, General Secretary Sindh Pir Mian Zubair and President Karachi Division Ahmed Hussain.
During meeting Dr Amjad facilitated a telephonic discussion between APML Chairman Pervez Musharraf and Shujaat Hussain. Two leaders discussed the complex political situation of the country and ponder over possibilities to form a grand alliance to relieve the nation of uncertainty and chaos.
