Journalist among four injured in Gujranwala attack

GUJRANWALA: Four persons were injured as armed men attacked and ransacked the local office of Urdu daily Khabrain on Wednesday. The wounded were identified as former president of Gujranwala Union of Journalists Yasir Ali Jatt, Jahangir, Haris Zafar and Sajid Ali. Gujranwala Union of Journalists president Raja Habib, general secretary Adil Akram, other office bearers and journalist bodies condemned the attack. A delegation of Gujranwala Union of Journalists also met SSP (Operations) Nadeem Khokhar who promised full cooperation and action.
