LAHORE: Law-enforcing agencies reportedly arrested four suspects involved in two terrorist attacks, one on the Bedian Road and another at the Charing Cross.
Among the four arrested suspects, two were identified as Ramzan Khan and Wali Khan. Ramzan was said to be involved in the Bedian Road incident and Wali Khan in the terrorist attack at the Charing Cross. All the four suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location.
News Desk adds: The arrest of a female Daesh affiliate, Noreen Leghari, as a result of a combing operation in Lahore by the sensitive agencies has struck fear in the hearts of Factory Area residents. The arrested girl, a resident of Hyderabad, had contracted marriage with the killed terrorist Tariq in the same house about two-and-a-half months ago.
According to the area people, the local Daesh leader Azeem alias Abu Fauji, used to keep roaming in the area in a vehicle. The terrorist with one million rupees head money is on the loose and the law-enforcers have intensified the operation to arrest him at the earliest. The house was rented in his name, and the police are grilling the property dealer and the landlord at some secret place to ascertain their link with the terrorist.
On the other hand, Geo News reported that Afzal Leghari, brother of Naureen, confirmed the news of his sister’s arrest in Lahore. He added that the news was shared by his father on phone. According to sources, intelligence agencies have started investigating about the relation between Naureen and the killed terrorist.
