LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) star Babar Azam has vowed to maintain his form during the West Indies series.
“I want to have my own identity with performance, which I would like to maintain in the coming series,” he said while talking to media here at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Babar, who scored three successive ODI centuries against the West Indies in the UAE, looked satisfied with his performance in PSL 2.
He further said that he was ready to fill the void after Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq retired.
Meanwhile, Shadab Khan seemed determined to achieve something big for Pakistan. Shadab said he wanted to become the best all-rounder.
National team fast bowler Hassan Ali expressed his determination to deliver during the coming series. “I have no pressure of any kind and am looking forward to the West Indies series to show my skills for the country,” he said.
He stated that he was trying to play the role of an all-rounder. He added that he had been trying to be more proficient with the ball in the dying overs and for that he had been practising bowling yorkers.
