Saudi envoy completes his tenure in current month
ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al Zahrani will complete his tenure as the ambassador to Pakistan in the current month.
He will soon start farewell meetings with the president, prime minister and other constitutional post holders and officials. During the tenure of Ambassador Abdullah Marzouk Al Zahrani, new dimensions were added between the two brotherly countries’ relations and cooperation in different sectors of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz had appointed Abdullah Marzouk Al Zahrani as ambassador to Pakistan in 2015. Before his appointment in Pakistan, he served as Deputy Ambassador in Lebanon. During the tenure of Abdullah Marzouk Al Zahrani, cooperation between the two countries in the fields of information and culture, defence relations, commerce and Trade and Human Resources were further strengthened.
Pakistan became member of Saudi Arabia-led military alliance of Muslim countries during his ambassadorial tenure in Pakistan. Abdullah Marzouk said mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will further strengthen and expanded in the coming days. "Saudi Arabia sees cooperation with Pakistan in different fields and will continue to stand with each other for peace and progress," he said.
