Hegemonic designs behind US anti-Islam tirade: JUI-F leader
NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) provincial president Maulana Gul Naseeb on Sunday said that United States linked terrorism with Islam to achieve its hegemonic objectives.
Talking to reporters here, he said his party had completed preparation for the public meeting in Azakhel to be held on April 7 to 9. He said the US institutions had planned the 9/11 attacks to pave the way for launching a crusade against the Muslim world.
Maulana Gul Naseeb said planes hit the twin towers but the US despite its superior research institutions could not conduct a proper investigation to ascertain the culprits. He said great powers imposed their proxy war on the region in 1980 and hoped that it would end before the 21st century. However, the war continued to date and the end is nowhere in sight.
The JUI-F leader criticised Pakistani leaders for joining the war, saying that the country would suffer until the government decides to stop being the US proxy in the region. He said the aim of the public meeting was to educate the youth that the international conflict was not a war between Islam and West but a war between imperial forces for their hegemonic designs. The JUI-F leaders would also inform the youth about the pros of quitting the war.
