Managing Director Pakistan Overseas Foundation (POF) Habib-ur-Rehman Gillani has said that an advisery council consisting of 100 members is being formed for the solution of the problems of Pakistani expatriates.

In a press conference on Thursday in Pakistan Consulate the managing director said that the advisery council would comprise 40 Pakistani members from Middle East, 30 from Europe and another 30 from North America.

The Pakistan Council General Javed Hassan was not present in the press conference. While Head of chancellor Raja Samar Javed, Press Councilor Aashiq Husain and Welfare officer were present. Overseas Foundations board member Chaudhry Noor ul Hassan also attended.  Habib-ur-Rehman said that Pakistani School "Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Makhtoum" was on the verge of closing and government was trying to improve its standard.

Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development authority has warned of the closure of the school for its poor education, below average teaching methods and political and counsel interference.  The managing director further said that the present government was well aware of the problems of expatriates and for this reason an overseas convention would be held in December and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would be the guest of honour.
