Pakistan claim silver in Beach Handball

KARACHI: Pakistan lifted silver medal when they lost to Oman 0-2 in their game of the International Beach Handball tournament, which concluded in Dubai on Saturday night.
The score remained 11-10, 16-12 in favour of champions Oman, who are also the Asian silver medallists.
Meanwhile, India got bronze after beating hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) on sudden death. Pakistan had beaten India on Friday.
Tahir Ali led Pakistan on the tour which also had his deputy Mohammad Shahid Pervez, Mohammad Uzair Atif, Hazrat Hussain, Asim Saeed, Muzammil Hussain, Imran Khan, Waqar Ali, Maaz Ali and Mohammad Nawaz.
Naseer Ahmad (coach), Javed Iqbal (manager) and Najam Hussain (head of delegation) were the officials.
