Syndicate approves 282 new posts for AUST

ABBOTTABAD: The syndicate of Abbottabad University of Science and Technology (AUST) on Monday approved 282 new posts.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Iftikhar Ahmed presided over the meeting that took a number of important decisions to improve facilities in the campus.Justice (R) Abdul Latif Khan, representatives of Higher Education Commission, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department and office-bearers of AUST attended it.
AUST registrar presented the agenda. It was decided that 11 professors, 20 associate professors, 35 assistant professors and 20 lecturers would be appointed in the university.The vice-chancellor and members expressed satisfaction over the progress of the development work particularly construction of academic block and hostels.
