Shafiq re-elected Handball Federation president
KARACHI: Mohammad Shafiq was re-elected as president of Pakistan Handball Federation (PHF), while Javed Iqbal Gill was chosen as secretary in the elections held at Faisalabad on Saturday.
The electoral meeting was also attended by the representatives of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) Khalid Mehmood and Pervaiz Ahmad. The assistant director of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Raja Zulfiqar was also present.
Office-bearers: Muhammad Shafiq (president); Amna Tanvir (PWHA), Khalid Rashid (HRAP), Col. Junaid Alam (Army), Bahr-e-Karam (KPK), Mohammad Hanif (Punjab) (all vice-presidents); Javed Iqbal Gill (Punjab) secretary general; Saqlain Kausar(PWHA), Mohammad Imran (HRAP), Sohail Ahmad Khan (Balochistan) (all associate secretaries); Mohammad Aamer (Wapda) treasurer; ExCo members: Railways, Police, HEC, Sindh, Islamabad, Tahir Ali (athletes commission), Ghazala Saleemi (PWHA), Saiqa Ehsan (PWHA).
