DSPs, SHOs role sought in crackdown on outlaws

Deputy Inspector General Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has directed DSPs and SHOs to play their role in crackdowns on criminals in the city. He asked them to constitute special teams to arrest proclaimed offenders in every beat of every police station on daily basis.

Raids on habitual offenders should be conducted on daily basis in the area of every police station. All officers should play important role in campaign against drug peddlers, dens and land mafia in the city. Muhafiz should make their presence and maximum patrolling on main points of the area and check every suspected bike or car. All SDPOs and SHOs make ensure the foolproof security arrangements after meeting the administration of all Mahafil before 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.

They should be committed to fulfill their task for arrest of proclaimed offenders. SHOs should take strict action against those who do not enter their records under Temporary Residence Ordinance. All offers should give priority to the calls of emergency helpline 15, he said addressing a meeting of Model Town division in SP Model Town office to review monthly progress of November.  Dr Haider Ashraf warned ASP Kahna Shahbaz Ilahi and DSP Ichhra M Ibrahim to improve performance. He showed displeasure to Nishtar Colony SHO Muhammad Ameen and SHO Kahna Ata Ullah for poor performance. He rewarded 10,000 and certificate to SHO Abrar Shah. He warned SHO Gulberg Malik Ijaz, SHO Nasserabad Abdul Hafeez, SHO Kotlakhpat Imran Qamar to improve performance. He dismissed TASI Sharif of Garden Town for long absent, issued show cause notice to SI Rasheed of Gulberg and ASI Khalid of Garden Town, displeasure to TASI Aitzaz of Faisal Town, show cause notice to SI Rasheed of Model Town. He rewarded CCII certificates ASI Jaffar of Liaqatabad, SI Ishtiaq of Faisal Town, ASI Parvaiz of Liaqatabad, SI Masood ur Rehman of Naseerabad, ASI Abdul Rauf, ASI Aqib of Naseerabad, SI Latif and SI Sadiq of Kahna.
