Geo’s Khabarnak completes 1,000 episodes landmark

LAHORE: Geo News popular programme Khabarnak had achieved another landmark as the show completed 1,000 episodes and a reception has been arranged in the honour of team Khabarnak.

All the team members participated with their spouses. The team mates congratulated one another on the completion of 1,000 episodes of Khabarnak. For the last one year Khabarnak has been experimenting with the content, format, composition and characters artistically. One and half years back half of the team left to join another channel together with the host but the production team ventured into scripting planning, conceiving new ideas and experimenting with different formats.

Saleem Albela , Mir Muhammad Ali, the mimicry artiste who was awarded with pride of performance two years back have been playing a pivotal role in bringing success for the show.

Mir Muhammad Ali was very happy and discussed his journey as to how he had been playing various dummies in Khabarnak. He said that every day had been a new day for him in Khabarnak. Zeeshan Hussain, Executive Producer of the show participated with Shumaila Salahuddin, his wife and a former employee of The News (Marketing). Shumaila Salahuddin arranged the dinner on behalf of Harris Ashar Endowment.

Saleem Albela and Mir Ali together with Khalid Baig sang marvelous songs. Wajid Khan, Hasan Murad, Zunera Maham, Shahzeb Mirza and Sajid Bhai participated in the show.
