China Radio International (CRI) and Roots Confucius Classroom organised the first ever Chinese Food Show (Taste of Friendship, Ziaqa Dosti Ka) to promote Pakistan China Friendship and people to people relationship through its famous foods recipes at Roots Millennium Schools (RMS) - One World Campus, E-11/4, says a press release.

CRI representative Mr Chen Xiang (Pakistani name Shaheen) organised the special event in collaboration with RMS. It was the part of ongoing efforts of promoting relationship of love and brotherhood between the people of two countries through common cultural heritage and the food. The Chinese food is loved all over the world and it is equally popular and loved in Pakistan.

CRI-Roots Confucius Classroom senior correspondent Chen Xiang said that Pakistan is our second home and it is a manifestation of our love and association with the Pakistani people to arrange this food fiesta.

The Tai Ji teacher Mr. Kevin along with the young Millennial’s mesmerised the audience by their brilliant performances. The students interacted with the host Ms. Lily who asked them various questions in Chinese language. The Chinese language skills were highly appreciated by the host and the celebrities attending the event.

RMS under the leadership of Chief Executive Faisal Mushtaq launched the unique Chinese Language School Initiative four years before where now 6,500 students of RMS are learning Chinese on full time basis as part of their structured academic study plan and language curriculum from grade 1 to 7. RMS students of Chinese language programme as millennia’s have coined a new generation of young Pakistanis educating themselves with a determination and drive to look for opportunities across all areas of education, trade, commerce, tourism, industry, business and research to help transform Pak-China long standing historic friendship into a partnership.
