KARACHI: ZTBL recorded a convincing eight-wicket triumph against hosts State Bank in the summit clash of the inaugural State Bank Women Cricket Championship 2016-17 at SBP Sports Complex here on Thursday.
SBP batted first in the match and were all out for 83. Kainat Hafeez top scored for the side with 26 runs. Sana Mir got three wickets, while Aiman Anwar, Almas Akram and Nida Dar took two each.
ZTBL easily reached the target for the loss of only two wickets in 27.4 overs. Naheeda Khan scored unbeaten 34.
Sana was declared Player of the Final Match.
ZTBL players won all awards for individual performances. Javaria Khan won the best scorer award. Nida Dar claimed the best wicket taker award. Rabya Shah secured the best wicket-keeper award. Nida Dar (ZTBL) and Aliya Riaz (SBP) were adjudged the best all-rounders.
